Gift Card Policy

Introduction 

ILLIIYEEN Gift Cards offer a seamless gifting experience for our valued customers. The following policy outlines the terms and conditions for purchasing, redeeming, and managing ILLIIYEEN Gift Cards, applicable both in stores and online.

Purchasing an ILLIIYEEN Gift Card

• ILLIIYEEN Gift Cards are available for purchase at all ILLIIYEEN retail stores and online (www.ilyn.global).

• Customers can select from predefined amounts– BDT5,000 and BDT10,000.

• Gift Cards are packaged in a sealed envelope, ensuring security and a unique redemption code is securely assigned to each Gift Card.

• No discount is applicable for purchasing an ILLIYEEN Gift Card.

• Gift cards cannot be purchased using a Gift Card.

• No VAT applies to the purchase of Gift Cards.

Redemption Process

• Gift Cards can be redeemed online by entering the unique redemption code at checkout.

• In-store redemption requires presenting the Gift Card at the billing counter.

• An OTP verification process ensures the security of each transaction.

• A Gift Card can only be used once, and the full amount must be redeemed in a single transaction. Any remaining balance cannot be redeemed for a next purchase.

• If the purchase amount exceeds the Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using an alternative payment method.

Validity and Expiry

• ILLIIYEEN Gift Cards are valid for one year from the date of activation.

• Expired Gift Cards cannot be reactivated or refunded.

Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges

• Gift Cards are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.

• Purchases made using a Gift Card are not eligible for refunds but may be exchanged if they meet the Exchange Policy requirements.

• Products belonging to an invoice that include Gift Card payment are non-refundable but exchangeable upon meeting Exchange Policy requirements.

Security and Lost Cards

• The redemption code associated with a Gift Card must be kept secure by the recipient.

• If a Gift Card is lost, stolen, or compromised, it must be reported immediately to ILLIIYEEN Service Center.

• In cases of loss or theft, the redemption code may be deactivated and a replacement issued at the discretion of ILLIIYEEN, subject to verification.

• Redeemed Gift Cards cannot be reported as lost or stolen. So, the reporting of a lost or stolen Gift Card must be done before it is redeemed.

Loyalty Points

• Customers earn Royalty Points when purchasing an ILLIYEEN Gift Card, but not on the amount redeemed, though points apply to any additional value paid beyond the card.

Compliance and Amendments

• ILLIIYEEN reserves the right to modify or update this Gift Card Policy at any time without prior notice.

• By purchasing or using an ILLIIYEEN Gift Card, customers agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
